I wanted to explain the pictures above: The first one is actually me, my referral picture for when I was a-okayed for adoption; I was 4 1/2 years old. The second picture: Me holding the little girl at the orphanage (on my second gift tour) that looked exactly like I did on my exit photo for when I was going to the United States to be adopted. This was the second year I saw her at the orphanage. The third picture: A wonderful shelter started by two lovely women for homeless children in Cambodia. This is the place where we were greeted so warmly by all the children with hugs and saying, "Welcome Sistah, we love you Sistah", hence the reason why I call my two wonderful friends that traveled with me, my Sistahs. It was such an amazing welcome and so unexpected, that yes once again, I needed my sunglasses...The fourth picture: Me kissing the sweetest little girl in her foster home in Vietnam. Amazing Grace, the couple that traveled with us was this little girl's sponsor. So wonderful to see the love in this foster home! Our foster families are our angels until our children go to their forever families. The fifth picture: Me being me..silly as usual on the streets of Hoi An, Vietnam pretending to be a basket lady with a miny set of baskets(guess you had to be there). The sixth picture: Sistah Kassey and I sharing a drink of coconut juice after our hot tour of the Bayan Temple in Cambodia. Was it good? Still have not made up my mind, but anything at that point was good to rehydrate! The three Sistahs also shared an elephant ride together up to the entrance of the temple...it was amazing!
