How does anyone show another person how much he/she is appreciated? How does anyone have the words to convey thanks for giving a chance at life, a chance at happiness, a chance for his/her own family, a chance to create his/her own family?
Dr. David Kim is a person many in the adoptive community still do not know about. This bothers me. Without David Kim, the Holts would not have been able to function in Korea.
Dr. David Kim will be turning 80 years old this month, what a huge milestone! I have the privilege of serving on the Board of Directors with Dr. Kim and I witness every time, David's compassion and dedication to all the children and families of the world.
I want to honor David and spread the word so others may honor him on his 80th birthday. David is one for not wanting attention, gifts, or accolades, so the best way to honor him is to give to the Dr. David Kim Endowment.
