Our Monday continued...

Page 2...So we were off to lunch:

Traditional Korean restaurant, so we all had to take off our shoes...after lunch, we gather the group and get our shoes...not that easy with this group! Said with love of course...do the shoes above look the same? Almost, but one team member was the last to pick up her shoes and noticed her shoes were not there...she was certain they were not her shoes and the restaurant staff was certain then it had to be someone from our group that took her pair... Had to have Paul and Mr. Hwang translate, we looked at everyone's feet, no one had her shoes on. Laughed about it really, who would mistaken a pair of shoes? So, why not try on the pair that is left, hmmm they fit...still looking at the group and at our shoes...laughing really hard by now...team member decides to take the shoes that seem to fit her feet anyway, what choice does she have? Get on the bus...one of our team members has been sitting in the bus since right after she put on her shoes...THERE WERE THE SHOES!! Mystery solved and another reason to laugh hysterically!

Ahhh, Sistah Amy would have been very impressed by our next activity...went to the unwed mother's shelter. We were brought into the craft room...hang in there Amy! The art instructor gave us each a square canvas of rice paper and had us brush a bold black stroke onto it:

Had to imagine what we saw in the black stroke then he painted it, it was beautiful and what a wonderful gift he gave to all of us! Mine was two trees in love and soon come together.

This is Debbie being thanked for her family's wonderful donation to the unwed mother's shelter:

When I get the picture from Debbie on how they utilized their donation, I will post the pic.
Needless to say, visiting unwed mother's shelter is always emotional for everyone.
So onto dinner already! Sistah A was the one that started pics of our food, so here we go:

Heading to the restaurant after our subway ride, Kelsey did the subway surfing too and I blended...
Walking up to the restaurant
The beef for bbq'ing
Grillin and chillin
Our 'fixins'

In Korea, Claire doesn't do wine tasing, she does lettuce tasting. She will soon open her own business called: "Lett-us" Taste!

Here are shout-outs from our group here to their family and friends:
My mom, Judee
The Dunham's
The Brown's
The Noland's
Rose
And of course, myself
Everyone sends their love and thanks for your support, we miss you all!

Today we are off to Ilsan for our first Christmas party, yeah!

Sounds like you are having a great time. We miss you like crazy, but know you are having a great time. Our trip is wonderful as well, look at the blog to see what we've been up to. Today we have three parties, A day care (like head start), Foster Families and Independent Scholars party...
Can't wait to see more about your trip tonight when we get back from dinner.
Love to your group from ours...

Glad to read you're there safely after all you went through beforehand! I look forward to reading your blog while you're in Korea. Makes me homesick!
