Monday in NYC

Where did I leave off? I can't seem to keep track of the days here, doesn't that happen when on vacation? It's a good thing we can usually forget what day it is, otherwise I wouldn't consider it a vacation. Keeping track of the days of the week should only happen at home.

Monday was a very cold and blustery day in NYC so after shopping, we all 'vegged' out in our room. Our girls decided they were too cold and tired out from walking around...feet were sore and could they possibly be tired of shopping?? I don't think so, but they didn't feel like going to see the Yankee's game. Here are some pictures of our shopping day:
In Times Square, even Mickey D's has to be big and bright!:
Miss Kora hanging in Times Square:
Look how well she blends in!:
This guy pounded a nail into his nose, really! Taylor even held the nail and saw it was a real nail. It was absolutely DIS-gusting! But you couldn't help but keep looking!:(out in front of Ripley's Believe it or Not)
Whatever age, everyone needs to go inside M&M World!:
You can create your own mix of colored M&M's, the choices were amazing:
The Hershey store across the street, but we didn't go inside:
Cool waterfall walkway huh?:
This is the Fifth Avenue shopping crowd:
Erika wanting to make sure dad remembers Juicy Couture, though we have yet to find were they relocated:
Back at the hotel lobby after shopping, poor Kora sure is beat!:
Does Skip look like he's ready to go shopping again?:
This is what 'shop to you drop' looks like:
SO, I went with the boys and we took the subway...here are some pictures of our adventures to the 'Final Season' for the Yankee's in their current stadium:

He's not looking too confident at the Subway station:

Ok, a little more confident:

Inside the subway train:

Such close quarters, look at the bums I have by me:

The Old Yankee's Stadium:

The new Yankee's Stadium across the street:

The view from our seats...sa-weet!:

Tampa Bay Rays warming up:

Talkin about the good ole Nebraska boy!:

Intro of A-Rod:

Intro of Derek Jeter

Erika's fav, Johnny Damon:

Look at the bum next to me and he missed a foul ball to the kid sitting behind him:

Another bum next to me:

The subway ride home was VERY crowded, we were packed in like sardines:

Great experience going to the Yankee's game, even if we aren't into baseball that much. We did watch KU win the NCAA Championship game, then fell sound asleep!
